New CARICOM Regional Energy Efficiency Building Code (CREEBC)

The 2018 CARICOM Regional Energy Efficiency Building Code (CREEBC) was released by the International Code Council (ICC), ASHRAE, the CARICOM Secretariat Energy Unit and the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ). The CREEBC is meant to meet the specific needs of nations in the Caribbean and other countries with tropical climates.

Barbados Sustainable Energy Industry Market Assessment Report

The Sustainable Energy Industry Market Assessment provides an overview of Barbados’ status with respect to clean technologies in the energy sector. It draws on both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data analyses were derived from interviews with key stakeholders from the domestic private and public sectors as well as interviews with regional and international agencies and also benefited from responses from an online survey that was completed by a cross-section of stakeholders. CCREEE input paper for the 2017 Ocean Conference

The input paper “Addressing the Nexus: Energy Services from Organic Waste for Productive Uses - Integrated waste management solutions for coastal, marine and freshwater protection and productive uses in the Caribbean” was jointly prepared by SIDS DOCK, CCREEE, UNIDO and the CARICOM Energy Programme and is a concrete contribution to Partnership Dialogue 2: Managing, protecting, conserving and restoring marine and costal ecosystems.
