The Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CCREEE), under the NDC Transport, Energy and Climate (NDC-TEC) initiative, invites qualified suppliers to submit information on available battery-electric buses and associated charging infrastructure suitable for operations within tertiary institutions in Jamaica.
This Request for Information forms part of Work Package IV.2 of the NDC-TEC programme, which seeks to support Jamaica’s transition to low-carbon transport by piloting electric buses within university and technical training campuses. The pilot will assess bus performance, charging requirements, operational characteristics, and maintenance considerations to inform future scale up and procurement.
CCREEE is seeking technical and commercial information on suitable battery-electric bus models and charging systems, including specifications, operational performance, warranty and service arrangements, maintenance support, delivery timelines, and indicative pricing. Input received will support the pilot design, market analysis, and preparation of tender documents. This RFI is not a tender or invitation to bid.
